Refund Policy

Last updated: 19 April 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how Multinational Employment Ltd handles refunds for service fees collected in connection with Singapore work permit recruitment, visa processing and related services. All refunds are processed in accordance with the signed service agreement and applicable BMET / Government of Bangladesh regulations.

2. Visa Rejection by Singapore Authorities

If a work permit / IPA application is officially rejected by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or relevant authority through no fault of the applicant:

  • Refundable: Employer-side fees, IPA processing charges and any unspent service amount.
  • Non-refundable: Government fees already paid (BMET smart card, medical, fingerprinting), training fees, air ticket booking charges, and administrative processing costs already incurred.
  • Refund will be issued within 30 working days of receiving the official rejection letter and the applicant's refund request.

3. Cancellation by the Applicant

  • Before IPA submission: 70% of paid service fees refundable after deducting documentation and administrative costs.
  • After IPA submission, before visa issuance: 40% of paid service fees refundable.
  • After visa / IPA issuance: No refund, as government fees and employer commitments have been finalised.
  • After departure to Singapore: No refund will be issued under any circumstance.

4. Cancellation by the Employer

If the Singapore employer cancels the job offer before the applicant's departure, all recoverable amounts (employer-side fees and unutilised service charges) will be fully refunded. We will also make best efforts to place the applicant with an alternative verified employer at no additional service fee.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Medical examination fees paid to authorised medical centres.
  • BMET registration, smart card and clearance fees.
  • Passport, police clearance and notarisation charges.
  • Pre-departure training fees.
  • Air tickets once issued (subject to airline refund rules only).
  • Bank charges, currency conversion and remittance fees.

6. Disqualification of Refund

No refund will be granted if the application is rejected or cancelled due to:

  • Submission of false, forged or misleading documents.
  • Failure to pass the medical examination.
  • Criminal record or immigration blacklist.
  • Withdrawal after IPA / visa issuance.
  • Refusal to travel after the work permit is approved.
